“I was at a closing in the middle of summer as a thunderstorm was moving into the area. My customer had come in from Arizona that morning, and was headed out on a trip to Europe the next day. This was the only day he could be here. We were all in a conference room when someone ran in and said a tornado had been spotted three miles away. We had to go to the basement of the office building immediately. I grabbed all the paperwork and we went downstairs. We sat on the basement floor next to some mops and brooms and completed the deal as the sirens were sounding outside. We didn’t skip a beat as the storm passed over us, and I think my customer appreciated it. We laughed about it afterwards.”
