Rebuild Resources helps people in recovery from alcohol and drug addiction obtain meaningful, transitional employment and build self-sufficiency skills as they move back into the workforce. Rebuild Resources owns and operates two businesses in St. Paul where students gain skills, learn productivity and accountability and build their capacity to be valuable to an employer. SPEDCO’s grant assists in the continuing effort to strengthen the underlying student programs through business enterprise growth. |

The VICTRI - Veterans' initiative Center & Research Institute
Minneapolis, MN
Mission: To assist Veteran entrepreneurs and their family members start new businesses and intitatives, educate them on the essential knowledge and tools they need to succeed, support them to successfully build and execute their business or resource plans, help them grow their ideas and continue to be a resource for them to help sustain their on-going SUCCESS. This is a fairly new program available to the metro area. The VICTRI works closely with the Minnesota Department of Veteran Affairs, the Minnesota Secretary of State, and other organizations to provide the best available assistance to Veteran entrepreneurs to create an environment where their businesses will not only thrive but will benefit their community. |

Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans "MVAC" is a social service organization that assists veterans in crisis and/or homeless ness. MVAC's mission is to provide assistance throughout Minnesota to positively motivated veterans and their families who are homeless or experience other life crises. |
